Once you have decided to proceed with surgery, we will do our best to schedule your procedure as conveniently for you as possible.
Typically, patients will return for a preoperative appointment 1-2 weeks prior to surgery. At the preoperative appointment, you will have another opportunity to meet with your surgeon, Dr. Brown.
During this appointment, Dr. Brown will take time to review with you the specifics about your surgical procedure and insure that everything is in place to proceed in a safe manner. There will be an opportunity for you to ask any questions that you may have thought of since the consultation. We will take standardized preoperative photographs and you will be sent for any necessary lab tests.
